That sounds really familiar. I disagree witht that being Ennio Morricone btw. Whatever it is it sounds like it's from a Sci-Fi movie.

It actually sounds very similar to Alan Howarth stuff to me, it's not from Escape From New York, but you may want to check the Halloween 3 soundtrack, or anything else by Alan Howarth.
