I came across this song and am pretty sure it's a cover song from another band, though I'm not 100% sure about this. Does anyone know?

The songwriting credits say it's their own composition. But yeah, it sounds like it could be on a 70s power pop compilation.

If they wrote this song themselves, the vocal melodies still sound like this song I've heard played on classic rock or 70's pop radio, like something Cheap Trick might have done. It's the vocal melody that really makes this a great song too.
