I have a feeling this could very well be it!

It looks like the same seller has it listed on Gemm as well...

http://www1.gemm.com/item/TONY/STAY/GML140542477/

Edit: I just sent a quick email to the seller. Here's hoping!

They also added me as a friend months ago and I never heard back from them either. I can guarantee Boom Boom Room is not the band we are looking for here.

I went ahead and submitted the information about this song to the experts, so we'll see if they have any ideas about the identity of the song or band.

Same here... still no success, talked with/to a few djs in Germany, no one has a clue. Has anyone ever tried to ask Axel Henninger or even Talla 2XLC?

Teraso left a nice comment on the youtube comments section today... doesn't solve the mystery. but it's still a nice comment...

"I admire everyone's passion to search for this song's identity. It truly is awesome, add to the fact that this is a really amazing track, despite being a less than two minutes of clip only.

Such a mindblowing tune as well, because I strangely felt a chill down my spine when I first heard this."[/quote]

Almost 16,500 views, not too bad in less than 2 years either... at least a lot more people are aware of the song now. I hope one day this will be solved.

A trace I already followed some time ago is the Band D.I.A., the singer's voice is pretty similar to the voice of our singer of "Second time around". I searched for any Info about the band, but all I found was the 12" of "Passion play" with a b-side-track De Dini Devil once posted on his site, so I would rule this one out.
But maybe some Side-Project of the singer or some demo?

Here you can check it out:

By the way: It's from Germany and it's from 1984..
Does anyone have some more Info about the band?

I never heard of "Passion Play" by D.I.A. and I quite like it. The lead singers voice sure does fit the mold of "Stay (The Second Time Around)"
