Someone on discogs gave me this information:

Gosh, wish I could help you more. I will say this, it's not friends or lovers. I also think it's a woman singing. There is a slight hint of an American Southern accent so, instead of looking to pop music, one might look for country/western. Either that or it's European, someone trying to hide their own accent.
Personally, it sounds like either a film soundtrack or from a musical - not the typical pop song lyric construction, seems to be telling some story (I know ballads generally do, but this seems to be evocative of something the viewer would already know). If I'm correct, this may have some really creative title like "Love Theme" from some movie. I looked through the soundtracks I have for something that might have a similar feel, but found nothing.
Sorry!

You seem to have your own little thing going here seeing as you're the only person who's posted on here so far. Probably because it's such a shit song. If it sounds like a cool tune like the Stay The Second Time Around song then people don't mind investing time tracking it down.

Trouble is this song sounds like a song that was destined for the bottom of a cut outs bin. Sounds like bad karaoke.

Doesn't matter. Many, many, many and many people do like the song. For instance intelligent people who don't use the word shit.

Well, I hope I'm not neurotic, obsessive, megalomanic, arachnophopic etc. I'm only trying to help people, like Oldiesalive, TuYQuartza, Supernova71, Dunkelplatte, Dan Coogan, etc. :-)
