Afaik there are 2 versions of the Red And Blue dance mix, the one on the 12" vinyl and the edited version on the 90125 remastered cd.
But their track times aren't 7m22sec.
I don't believe that there was a "regular" extended version though.
Could your version be a bootleg remix ?

I don't think they are bootlegs. I have them on 2 different official cd's: one one "Back to the 80's the long versions" (http://www.discogs.com/Various-Back-To- ... ase/529934) and one on "De Langste" (http://www.discogs.com/Various-De-Langs ... se/4172235) I have searched on the internet concerning this version but I didn't find anything on it. I have also the extended remix from the 90125 album and the red and blue dance mix. This one is different to those 2. If you need more info, just let me know.

Interesting.
Is it in the same style as the Red And Blue remixes ?
Can you upload your track on zippyshare of on verzend.be or somewhere else ?

Never happened. The "Liebrand' credit for a remix of this song comes from a bootleg compilation from Argentina that used Mp3's to compile it. It's someone else's chopped up home made version, with his name on it. That (version / remix) whoever made it has a somewhat shoddy ending and a fairly noticeable (vinyl transfer hum) at the beginning.

There are a few other mixes credited to him that he never did. Several years ago on a site called http://www.mixfreaks.nl/ he acknowledged a few mixes mistakenly credited to him that he had nothing to do with, I believe this was one of them.

Maybe, but in this case you're "believing" wrongly.

It may be true that this "Liebrand remix" was not made by Ben...BUT...there is another thing I read in your post which appears very fishy to me: MP3.

I heard the remix I was speaking of in about 1990 or even earlier in a local radio station, when nobody knew yet what an "mp3" is.

This mix has be circulating around the internet for years. It comes from this compilation.
http://www.discogs.com/Various-80s12-Th ... se/1541446.
See the reviews about the MP3 source files.
You can Google it and get it from tons of places offering it as a download and it will always be the same as this (link below)

Truth be known, the remix is actually the Salvador Quiauhtlazollin version of this song. See his review from February 24, 2009
