This one has been around before. Never solved. Originally featured on and extracted from a mixed comp made (and shared) by a spanish user that just wouldn't be kind enough to share the tracklist despite several requests.

Every now and then that song is in my head...

I think it could be from: Spain, France or Germany.
What's that style, Synth-pop / Darkwave ?
Decade, 80's (87+) up to early 90's ?

I just can't decipher the line: Behind the Fields (in 2nd part I hear: Wheels) of (seems like: Fire)...

Oh god that's terrible. When you find out who it is track down every copy you can find and burn them.

Oh, nice trip down memory lane...I had already requested this one for ID back in 2009 on here as well, when I transcribed SOME lyrics.
But I never had the chance to listen that far in this song so far, so many thanks Analoge Mechanik for this great 3-minute-long track! This let me transcribe much more of the lyrics so you have a clue what this song is about.
