I'm trying to figure out a song I know I heard infrequently on the radio in 1984, but I loved it. It was something about girls chase boys or girls like boys or girls want boys. It was not by a trendy popular band. Something obscure. Please help me remember what it was! Thanks!

What about "Girls Keep Swinging" by Tin Janine. It's a Bowie cover of "Boys Keep Swinging" that she covered in 1984.

Thanks for all the suggestions. None of those so far. The song I'm thinking of sounds very similar to Ingrid Michelson's Girls Chase Boys in parts of her chorus. This is what made me remember it in the first place. Every time I hear Ingrid Michelson's song I am transported back to 1984 when I was desperately waiting for this particular song to come on the radio and every once in a rare while I would hear it. Wish I could figure this out! Thanks for everyone who's tried to help.
