Help with a 1986 song, maybe from movie soundtrack

Help with a 1986 song, maybe from movie soundtrack

Postby DoublePromo » Fri Jan 12, 2018 11:22 am

Was told it sounds like Level 42 and Belouis Some or from an 80's soundtrack, it does have that style/sound but from my searching it's not them. Back in the 1980's DJ Tony Humphries frequently played new wave-style dance tunes in his mixshows. It comes in at the 47 second mark. The audio isn't superb as it's from a cassette, but it's clear enough to listen. I've been searching for this since 1986. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I realize that the youtube clip sounded horrible, here is a significantly better sounding audio clip of it straight from the cassette - the actual song in question comes in full at 1 min 35 seconds. If it's not "new-wave'ish" I apologize but with the recommendations that people gave me I was hoping that someone here could help with it.
