Looking for a song likely mid 80's, Australian I think.

The only lyric I can remember is:
'I don't wanna face the day, today'

Saw the video on 'The New Music' back in the day.

I know it's not much to go on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

If it's a Hard Rock tune then maybe it's "Face The Day" by Angel City, better known simply as The Angels in Australia, their native country. The song is on their album "Darkroom", which is only available as an import, but well worth the effort and cost

Not true. Originally released in Australia on Epic, it was later rereleased on Shock. Never domestically released, as far as I know.
