This is Inexorablement by Icongnito
Extracted from the Cassette compilation “Pluies et Brouillard” (Rain and Fog)from 1985.
-Incognito, New-Wave group from the 80s from the Nantes(France) Region (1983-1991)

That's all the info I could find for the band online, if anyone has anything else on them, please share!
I am particularly interested in the lyrics on this song, since my french are not that good and I can't understand everything...

Ty everyone in advance!

Hi, I didn't know this band but this track is great. To reassure you, even as a French speaker, I don't understand all the words as the voice recording is very muffled.

Here is what I'm pretty sure :

A force de croiser la mort
<???> où l'espoir s'évapore
S'évapore

Vivre aujourd'hui et partir demain
Prochaine <???> et puis quelle fin !
Inexorablement, le temps l'emporte
Inexorablement, <???>

L'enfant qui nait déjà est en train de mourir
Chaque seconde rapproche du dernier soupir
Dernier soupir

L'égalité du commun des mortels
Paradoxes qui rendent la vie plus belle
Inexorablement le temps l'emporte
Inexorablement, <???>

Inexorablement le temps l'emporte
Inexorablement, <???>

This channel has other Incognito materials with pretty good sound : https://www.youtube.com/@J-T/videos

In order to have so much material in such a good quality, I bet its owner knows closely this band.

Hey there friend, thank you so much for your help!

I did ask a French friend of mine and he said the same thing as you, although he didn't to manage to "decrypt" that much of the lyrics, so thank you for that as well!

I'll see if I can contact the channel owner somehow, since the band seems really interesting to me, I'll keep y'all posted...
