Wounded Bird and Raven strike again

Wounded Bird and Raven strike again

Wounded Bird has now added Ben Orr and Elliot Easton to their upcoming slate of reissues, while Australia's Raven will be releasing a twofer of Dwight Twilley's TWILLEY and SCUBA DIVERS in mid-June. In older news, I was recently pleasantly surprised to find that EMI Canada (I think) had reissued the Deserters' SIBERIAN NIGHTLIFE back in 2003.

You can actually still get Deserters - Siberian Nightlife thru Amazon.ca. That is how I obtained mine, I think if you go the website, it may still be available.

They just added Face To Face to their "coming soon." A friend at Sony BMG tells me they are doing their first two albums, each with bonus tracks. Same deal with all the Translator albums. I can't wait!

Face to Face of 10-9-8- fame?
Is Wounded Bird the label that won't sell to consumers in NY state? (I just checked their site,a nd yes, no NYS sales!)

Hopefully the Translator release will include the 12" Break Down Barriers ext version plus b-side!

Yes, that band.

They must have some issues regarding collecting tax from NY customers. But I think they also sell their stuff on eBay, and retailers get their releases about a month after the Wounded Bird site starts selling them.

Considering these have been deleted since, like, 1988, I honestly thought this would happen when... well, let's just say hell must have frozen over.

Since I could never win the Japanese "Confrontation" CD no matter how many times it came around on ePay (and it didn't come around often), that's a real treat. Now everyone can have their own digital copy of "Walk into the Fire," the greatest AOR song no one ever heard.
