Happy Birthday to Martin Cooper for today
'A brief update on some recent releases that might be of interest to OMD fans:
'OMD's live performance from 1979's Leigh Valley Festival is now available as part of a CD compilation. The album also features performances from Joy Division, Teardrop Explodes and A Certain Ratio.
'North By North West: Liverpool & Manchester from Punk to Post-Punk & Beyond 1976-1984, Paul Morleyís compilation CD celebrating the Liverpool/Manchester music scene includes an OMD contribution in the form of Electricity. Other artists featured include Dalek I Love You and Joy Division. The CD is also available as a special edition with a bonus CD."
