"This Bow Wow Wow album cover (I Want Candy Anthology) is a spoof on a famous painting - [i]Le dejeuner sur l'herbe[/i], by Manet," Coppola explains. "They re-created it, but with Vivienne Westwood bondage boots and stuff, and I thought about this image when I was working on Marie.....That was the spirit of the movie. I thought it was a little punk to tell the story from a young girl's point of view, because it's sort of rebellious, and it has'nt been done before."
