Would love to see the 7" version of The Love Parade FINALLY on CD!!! It's far superior to the LP version. The 12" mix should have been based on the 7" rather than just an even more boring elongated version of the LP track. I thought the single mix was so good that I couldn't wait to hear the 12"...But was disappointed when I finally did hear it.

Did anybody pick up the two-fer cd re-issue of their 2nd and 3rd albums a couple of years ago? It's on the Collectibles label and features slightly improved (or just louder?) sound, but doesn't sound like a true remaster to my ears.

Collector's Choice does, but Collectibles seems a little more hit and miss. I didn't think the Bananarama and Devo reissues from a few years ago were remasters...but I think you are right as far as the Dream Academy two-fer.

As far as I can tell, their first album doesn't *need* a remaster. If the existing CD isn't loud enough for you, turn up the volume!
