Cabaret Voltaire reissues/ iTunes

Cabaret Voltaire reissues/ iTunes

Postby clarence » Mon Jun 23, 2008 3:49 pm

Like the two previous posts, I found that some of Cabaret Voltaire's mid-'80s "accessible" period releases are now available again as downloads on iTunes (and Amazon, but they're cheaper from iTunes), including Micro-phonies, The Covenant, The Sword And The Arm Of The Lord and the Drinking Gasoline EP. Other downloads are available, but I mention these as they've all been out of print for awhile I believe. The bonus tracks from the original CDs on Virgin. I'm guessing Code isn't available because (here in the US at least) it was released on EMI.

It'll be nice to see "Covenant" reissued on CD, but unlike Mute/Grey Area Virgin is, as always, too slow or not interesting in Cabs. The same stands for PIL, not to mention other numerous 80' bands (Rip Rig & Panic etc...)
