H2O scored a big hit in 1982 with ‘Dream To Sleep’ appearing several times on Top of The Pops, filling dance floors across the land and enjoying lot’s of radio play. They released several more successful singles and in 1983 released a vastly underrated album Faith. They produced an album of sophisticated and well written pop songs all lead by singer Ian Donaldson’s deep rich baritone.

Thanks for good news. It is a long-awaited compact disc. I have their maxi-single "Blue diamond" on CD, but in used condition.

This finally arrived yesterday and I gave it a quick listen. The album tracks sound good, but as expected, the bonus tracks were taken from vinyl - not as bad as Thompson Twins' Set/A Product Of but a few pops can be heard. Just makes me wonder why they didn't make any effort to remove them which should be easy.. great album though

Even with all the bonus tracks, H2O had a number of other non-LP singles, extended versions and b-sides--they could practically fill another disc! Just got my copy of H2O, and they are like a collage of sounds from other artists--I hear hints of Spandau Ballet, Heaven 17, A Flock of Seagulls, etc. Pretty good stuff, but I can see why they never really had breakout success.

I've been listening to this quite a bit this week and really enjoying it. I hear Heaven 17 and OMD in quite a few of the songs. I was only familiar with Who'll Stop the Rain previously.
