...that the included remixes of One Small Day and Dancing with Tears in My Eyes are not the U.S. mixes by Francois Kevorkian and Steve Thompson, respectively?

It is indeed. Sadly only the regular 12" mixes were used. AFIK the mixes you quote aren't official EMI product and therefore couldn't be included.

Those mixes are 100% official EMI mixes available on import 12" vinyl.

"One Small Day" Special Remix (aka Club Mix) is on the CD. Wasn't that done by Francois Kevorkian?

I was kind of referring to an earlier quote on amazon.co.uk, written by Cerise Reed from ultravox.org - just found it again:

"The reason the US/Canadian only 12" of "Dancing With Tears" (extended mix by Steve Thompson) and "One Small Day" (club mix by Kervorkian) weren't included is because they were unofficial, non-EMI releases - and therefore EMI cannot include them."

The official second CD only has the "Special Re-Mix", "Special Remix Extra" and "Final Mix" of "One Small Day".

Hi,
The Special Re-mix is not the Club Mix.
There are in fact 4 official remixes of One Small Day.

BTW : It is very strange indeed that the 2 mixes from the promo US 12" were not included, now was the time to release them on cd afaic. I also have that 12" and it's very official alright.

Merry Xmas to all.
