The sound is the usual remastered sound with the DR 9. I consider the sound quality to be good with the DR 11-14. The Naked reissue by Wounded Bird has DR 12, the original CTAL is 14. So in my opinion the sound is not really good. But of course, it depends on what sound system you have. The more details of music it can deliver, the less tolerant you get to over-compression.
I am not a super fan, so I can't comment on the versions.
