I'd look forward to that. Mel & Kim were always good. I'm sure there's a lot of PWL mixes of their stuff.

I would have rather just had all the 12" mixes, that is really what Rick was about, the dance floor and PWL time. I could care less about the "albums." But it's Edsel.. so vinyl dubs to cd.. here we come!

Um...just because you don't like something that's being released doesn't make it a load of crap that it's being released. obviously there's a market for it, so it's being released. Don't like it, don't buy it. There's stuff released every day that you would hate that you don't even KNOW is being released. Who cares?

ummmmmm, oh I didn't say CRAP, I said BALLS..so get it right, Pinkyblue said CRAP, not me............and you are not slagging that post off...

and I'm quite aware of what's being released, now YOU are insulting my intelligence.....

Going purely by the some of the "artists" mentioned recently in this section, I think it's safe to say I officially hate new wave.

Rick Astley
Mel & Kim
Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Swing Out Sister
Gloria Gaynor
Gladys Knight
Donna Summer
THE COLOUR FIELD
Pet Shop Boys

I agree. The name of the site is "New Wave Outpost". The charter of this forum is to discuss New Wave. Even using the most liberal definition, most of those acts don't fit. There are all ready sites out there to dicuss these acts. Try searching on "80's Radio Friendly Superstars" or "DJ's 80's Club Forum".

EDIT: Changed the word artists to acts.
