Wow Sean, I got so excited reading your selections. MAINLY because most of them are new to me. What I have loved mostly about the Retro: Active series is a lot of the music I've never heard before. I have discovered so much (or maybe that is re-discovered)because of the tracks Alex and Company have chosen for the compilations. These, along with some hard-to-find classics, have made me euphoric. I pray that the series will continue. I thought it was brilliant that "Retro: Active 6" showcased more familiar tracks. This might be a way of coaxing more people to buy it and then the series will continue for more volumes. Hopefully, if number 7 comes out, a lot of your selections and those of others will make the cut. There has been so much I've missed out on while growing up, and Retro: Active has been my "treasure chest" of pure gold!!

Oh and Alex - a bit off topic - but I was excited that I read that you'll be providing a mix off the new Erasure Ep, "Storm Chasers"!!! Very exciting news. I've already pre-ordered my copy from Amazon!

Sean, Alex and all of you New Wave Fanatics, have a tremendous day!!

Thanks Jeffrey. Yup - we went with more 'names' on this one to try for a larger audience.
Yup - we did a mix of Storm In A Teacup on the Storm Chaser EP. We think it rather rocks

Just wanting to keep my friend busy. [:D]

My copy is on order now!

Dr. Sex - that's what I was going to do with my spare time: rip it from vinyl. That and Style's telephone. Not a bad list Sean.

Has work begun on R&R #7?

Do you take any of our suggestions/requests into consideration when doing a compilation? Thanks for all your hard work, I ABSOLUTELY love the R&R comps.
