[/quote]Hi, I have the four ORIGINAL Retroactive Compilations. In many cases the sound is not very good. In addition in the compilation cover it is said that some of the songs have never been edited in cd, but that's wrong, at least in my country Spain these songs do have been edited.
Nevertheless I think the compilations are excellent.

See you soon

There's nothing wrong with the sound... yes a few errors were made with respect to what was or wasn't commercially available on CD before... The Smiths and Peter Schilling for example.

I actually also think they sound outstanding. I don't really have one of those audiophile ears but compared to some of the beat up versions I have of these songs, these cd's sound pretty refreshing. Some of these songs are over 20 years old so even if you fix them up and give them a nice face lift, their age will show. No complaints from me Alex except I wish you could release more of these at a faster rate. [;)]

Finally received my Retro:active 4 today (yeah, I'm slow...) and it sounds great!! Thank You Mr Hush[:D]

And check out the thank yous!!
I can recognize Jason2 (NWO and IC natch), Todd Durrant (A Different Drum), various musicians/producers, Blake, Sean (NWO!!!) and some weirdo named Schwenk[:0]!

For volume 5, 6 or... I would suggest I-Level's "Number 5" (not sure which number), a b-side.

Thank you Alex
