New wave comps from the last 3 years

New wave comps from the last 3 years

Postby MikeP » Fri Jul 18, 2003 6:50 am

Has anyone stumbled on any interesting new wave compilations released in the past 3 years? One of the original driving forces behind my site was to catalog the majority of these compilations when they flooded the market back in the 90's, however I must admit that I got pretty jaded over the last few years and find myself rarely perusing the Various Artist bins at record stores anymore for new 80's comps. Most of the new ones I have seen are tired retreads of new wave standards. I'd like to update my site with new ones if they feature at least 2 tracks not already on other comps.

I've got 2 of the Disky comps (Best Of New Wave, More New Wave) and they are both region free and NTSC.

Here's a UK import I just picked up in the used bin for $2.99. Pretty generic but some interesting rarities all on a single 79 minute disk. From 2002...
