from the Martha and the Muffins web site:

"ICE AGE" RETURNING AFTER 22 YEARS?

After recent discussions between Martha and Mark and Warren Stewart,
Director of Catalogue Marketing at EMI Music Canada, plans are being made to reissue MatM's third and most sought-after album THIS IS THE ICE AGE on CD. (See track listing below.) Recorded in 1981, this was the first album of three that MatM recorded with Daniel Lanois, legendary producer of U2, Peter Gabriel, Brian Eno and Bob Dylan, among others.

EMI Music Canada has applied for licensing of ICE AGE to Virgin Records
UK, the label that controls the masters and is currently waiting for the go-ahead from Virgin to proceed. In addition to the original track
listing, two bonus cuts from the same recording sessions are likely to be included: TWENTY-TWO IN CINCINATTI and I'M NO GOOD AT CONVERSATION , both originally released on vinyl as B-sides. Stay tuned for more ICE AGE info in the coming months.

There's a couple of boring tunes on it, but I must say it's about frickin' time. I want it just for completion purposes, and a good copy of "Casualties of Glass", one of their best tracks ever.

It's hypnotic, you know...
