I have never heard of Via Afrika. Can you give me a little detail on what they sound like? Are they New Wave? Is their music synthie? What band can you compare them to?

Via Afrika was primarily World Beat, which was very in vogue at the time of their first release in 1983. They were from South Africa and definitely fit into the post-punk arena. "Hey Boy" got some underground club play, at least in New York. Think an e

Via Africa - Hey Boy was a great 12" dance single - very very catchy, I am guessing clubs ate it up.
