New Wave Outpost Forum

Supposedly this is going to come out May 1st after many delays. I've also seen a new tracklisting, which is much better than the last one I saw and has mercifully lost the god-awful Shout Beatchuggers Remix.

I'd rather have the UK 12" Extended Version of Shout over the "Dub" version, which is not that interesting, and has already been released.

And, are we ever going to see the original UK 12" Extended version of "Mothers Talk" on CD? I thought this release was our best chance for that. The Beat of the Drum mix gets old rather quickly.

Wow. I had no idea this was in the works. From this era, my favorite radio-friendly release was Mother's Talk--albeit the UK version, and not that gawdawful U.S. remix crapfest.

It'll be interesting to see if this paves the way for more TFF reissues and, hopefully, the like from other 80s bands.

It's listed on Amazon with a May 23rd release date
