Don't hold your breath, because I've heard this several times from a buddy on the inside of the retail end. Anybody that can verify this would be awesome, Jason or anybody at Ideal. But there is a chance now that Universal owns all of the A&M materials, and is currently putting out the Difford and Tilbrook CD remaster this month on Hip O Select that URGH, A Music War is around the corner. Stay tuned.

Also hearing the PIL remasters are still in the pipeline, possibly for 2007. Signs of life are appearing, Metal Box (in a replica of its original form)just got reissued by 4 Men with Beards on vinyl, and that release was approved by John Lydon. It was a remaster! This, along with the recent Lydon remastered compilation "...& Notes" had a ton of remastered tracks on it. So the original Virgin CD's of PIL's first four albums apparently may be around the corner according to the source.

Just remember that nothing is concrete yet, but keep the eyes peeled. Peace.

Well, I hope you are right, but I asked Stewart Copeland, in person, last Saturday night, about the possibility of a commercial Urgh DVD release, and he said he sincerely doubted it.

Schwenko,
Do you ever think we'll see DVDs of The Cutting Edge? I sent Mr. Copeland an email inquiring, but he never wrote me back.

Which Mr Copeland?[:D]
That was the series with Peter Zaremba (Fleshtones) as host, and the goldfish in the martini glass?
I hope so, but I have no idea; didn't get a chance to ask Stewart that one[:p]
And I don't think Peter Z lives in my town any longer, so it's unlikely I will ask him[;)]
Although the Fleshtones will play Irving Plaza in September
