While it may be available even sooner from Wounded Bird, EBN-OZN shows a release date at CD Universe of October 17th, for their usually great price, $9.78

Same day, also Marc Tanner - No Escape, very essential for me anyway. Hope the other Marc Tanner gets a release also. Same price, $9.78.

It's hard to argue with their great prices and services, and my wallet goes to them over most others any day.

Oh man - I love you guys. I've had a used LP copy of "Feeling Cavalier" for a few years but have never played it - my turntable's been busted forever and I've never replaced it.

The other Wounded Bird release I'll be getting on 10/17 is the David Pack album "Anywhere You Go". He was the lead singer of Ambrosia and this was his long-deleted first solo album (you can find the Japanese import for about $40). It had some great songs on it. Far from NW, but what are ya gonna do?

That David Pack will be well worth getting for any Ambrosia fan. It is excellent, and the CD has been long out of print now. As usual, CD Universe will have it at one heck of a good price - $9.78

Looks like it's available for purchase now directly from the Wounded Bird site.

I received my copy last week through woundedbird and I must say I am very happy with the quality and packaging.

There is only one minor flaw,

NO bonus tracks, woundedbird along with several other re-issue labels seem to be getting lazy when it comes to bonus material and alternate versions. Here is what could have been included:

AEIOU Sometimes Y (Long Version)
AEIOU Sometimes Y (Single Version)
AEIOU Sometimes Y (Dub)
Bag Lady (Late Nite Version)
Bag Lady (Instrumental)

It's not necessarily that they're "lazy"; sometimes, it becomes cost prohibitive to include bonus tracks for licensing reasons. When a label like Wounded Bird licenses music from a label, they have to commit to a certain unit guarantee. Every label has different guarantees, and they can change greatly when bonus tracks are added. In many cases, the guarantee is very low when they just do a straight reissue of an album. When reissuing albums that never sold much to begin with (like EBN-OZN), that becomes an issue.

AEIOU Sometimes's Y's extended version, to me, would be the only reason to get the CD. I listened to "feeling cavalier" a while back, and to be honest, it wasn't that good. AEIOU's a solid track(arguably their most popular), but the rest of the tracks seems to be them playing around with voice distortion.

I'd agree that from start to finish, Feeling Cavaliere is far from perfect. For me, it's worth grabbing for the price, and there are 3-4 very choice tracks on it that are worth the price alone. But agree, it has some tracks that for me are just okay at best.

Still GREAT to see it reissued.
