New Platinum titles coming

[Spaz]

There are a few new Platinum titles coming via Warner UK.

Blancmange-Platinum Collection: this seems to be identical to the Best Of Blancmange (with yellow cover) that is out of print.

Bananarama-12" Collection: unfortunately it concentrates on their later dancier stuff (the Stock-Aitken-Waterman years) which is good, but I was hoping for more from the first two albums. Maybe there's not that many extended mixes from those early albums?

Modern Romance-Platinum Collection: this seems to have most of the first two albums which is very cool. Can't wait to get this one. I never bought the Japanese CDs of the albums (since I didn't know they even existed until years after they were deleted).

ALREADY AVAILABLE:

Dollar-Platinum Collection: really fun compilation of their WEA stuff so it does have tracks produced by Trevor Horn ("Mirror Mirror").

Do all these cds contain the original recordings?

I got cought out last week - I bought a cd. It was full of re-recordings.

I sent it back to the online store.

Thanks i knew about Blancmange but didnt post cause i forgot, but i am happy to see one for MODERN ROMANCE.. That is exciting to have that on cd..

Hopefully, they don't use any of the newly recorded Modern Romance songs. The original single version for Cherry Pink & Apple Blossom White would be excellent.
