Don't understand the cover is without Siobahn?? Though not complete, a good selection of mixes that were not bonus tracks on the last Bananarama Collection.

Is that mix of Cruel Summer the original 12" extended version or is that a newer mix? I agree with you on the cover. It's got to have Siobhan on there. Weren't there also 12" versions for the following?

Robert Deniro's Waiting
Rough Justice
Hot Line To Heaven
Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye

This should have been a double disc.

Yeah i dont know what that "Cruel Summer" mix is... could be new or mislabled.. I have no idea... will have to see what bananarama.co.uk says about the release.
As for double cd we are lucky to have their 12" mixes finally see the light of day on cd..

There is also a few dub mixes that are great and bsides, and yeah there is stuff missing, Do Not Disturb, mixes from the second album, as well as other various mixes of songs that had more than one remix.

I want to first say this is a very cool collection and many of these tracks are long overdue for a CD release, actually any Bananarama 12" version is, as the latest batch of remasters did not include any bonus tracks. Whether the mixes be new or original versions this is still a must have in my opinion. I love Bananarama and even the DUB VERSION of Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye is not included this is still a very cool collection nonetheless, I would rather see more early tracks appear on this CD but I am not going to be picky about the selections and all of the tracks look very promising and sure to throw a good beat down on the dance floor

Would it have killed them to make it a 2-disc set? The extended versions of "Aie a Mwana" and "Cheers Then" are missing as well, two of my favorites!

Well, there may be a chance for remasters in Britian done properly.. the nanas have alot of bsides

Sadly "Wild Life" is not on there, one of their more difficult songs to find on cd.

This song isnt difficult to find on cd its on Essential Bananarama (2003)and bonus track on reissue of Bananarama on Collectibles (2004).

And the Bananarama DVD Video Collection is long overdue.

Yeah i cant believe that is out yet, and who would have thought i would have been able to buy Shakespeare's Sister's videos before the Nanas?

Same here. [:D] I didn't even realize Shakespeare's Sisters had so many videos until I bought that.

you must buy this, more volumes could follow!:

Today, October 2, Warner Music UK releases a new Bananarama compilation. This is no ordinary best of : appropriately titled The Twelve Inches of Bananarama, it comprises 12 of the band's hits in their full extended glory. Some of these remixes had never before been available on cd. According to Warner, all the tracks have been remastered and if the sales are satisfying more volumes will follow.
A must for fans and a great way to rediscover the songs for all the others !

Please, lets give the musicians the courtesy of letting their cd come out and be PURCHASED.

Trick of the night is clearly, straight from vinyl, unfortunately. I just don't understand.

Somebody else posted on a thread that this is the first of a number of possible cds of remixes that MIGHT BE RELEASED IF SALES OF THIS CD ARE HIGH ENOUGH.
