WOW That's great! Even though I have some albums already on Vinyl, CD, and casette tape I just wish TOWER RECORDS would made some of it available here in MANILA to save on the shipping expenses like what they did recently with THE CURE, TEARS FOR FEARS, and GO BETWEENS. I had a shopping galore but it really hurts on the pocket. I like those DELUXE EXPANDED CDs!![;)]

I just got the First and Last and Always CD today. Be warned that it's stated on the CD that it's the "Original Mix" of the album, available on CD for the first time. Apparently, the version most of us are familiar with was a remixed version. The original version of the albums is different only in the fact that it sounds more like a demo. The remixed version sounds brighter and better produced, making me think I will hold on to my original CD as well.

The whole CD, including the bonus tracks, are all from master tapes. The only real complaint is that the volumes are all over the place. The first 5 songs are quite low in volume, though increase for the next 5. The bonus tracks start with a very loud volume, the loudest on the CD, but end by being very low in volume. Basically, be prepared to run back and forth to the volume knob on your stereo.

The packaging is following the re-issue trend of the digipack, which I'm not a big fan of. The saving grace is this is a multifold digipack. The enclosed booklet has some adequate, if not too informative liner notes; although still no lyrics are reproduced.

Wow! FaLaA always sounded shitty to me in the first place! That CD was always crying out for a remaster. So the new one is even crappier sounding? Yeah I guess I will hold on to my originals too! Wonder if this holds true for just that album or all of the remasters from da Sistas?!?!?
