In Defense Of John Robie's "Sub-Culture" Mix

In my quest to find any information concerning my favorite producer, John Robie, I've come across a lot of negative comments in regard to his mix of "Sub-Culture" by New Order. In reality, it was not a remix, but a (re)production of the song. Although I'm quite biased in my opinion, I truly believe that he took the song to a whole new level for the better!!!!! Bernard Sumner's vocals were immensely improved with the addition of the background vocalists. Mr. Robie's additional keyboards brightened up a quite lack-luster production overall. My verdict: The Perfect Mix!!!

So, what do you guys think? Am I alone in my view? Curious to know what you did and/or did not like about it.
