When you see the same tracks showing up on every 80s compilation you realize what a breath of fresh air the retro active series is.

Hopefully - we'll see more installments:

I would love to see

"Call Me Blue" by A House www.zop.ca
"All is Yellow" Auto Da Fe http://www.gaywoods.homestead.com
"CIA" by Light A Big Fire (www.youtube.com)
"Canvas of Life" by Minor Detail

All of this tracks are nearly extinct.

I must go and pre-order my copy of Retro Active 6.

Anyway - to all involved welldone!

I can hardly contain myself!!! Just got an e-mail from Hi-Bias Records Inc stating that "Retro: Active 6" has just been shipped to my home!! Boy, this is heart-pounding news. Alex, again, thank you so much for getting this issue out. I so desperately want this series to continue: to, at least, 10 issues; at the most, 25 issues! Nobody does it better than you guys to locate the official masters and get the artists/remixers input. I know, I know, I'm repeating myself endlessly with this statement, but I just can't help it. Sometimes I don't think there is enough gratitude and respect for those who work tirelessly in making music fans' dreams come true. That's why I'm proud to be a part of the New Wave Outpost. Men and Women who are some of the coolest people on earth.

Bravo Hi-Bias Records!

Bravo Alex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered mine from The Ideal Copy. I was debating on which place to order it from so I picked the store more local to me. I hope I don't have to wait. I know stores get these before consumers and they can ship it out prior to release date so we can receive it by the release date. Hope this is the case or I will be really bummed.

Ordered mine on Amazon. It will be weeks before it arrives as I am living over here in Ireland.

What was your favourite Retro cd so far?

Mine was Retro Active 5.

Hey Guys!!! Well, finally it came!!!! And let me tell you, it was definitely worth the wait!!!! The sound quality is amazing, as always!! It is so phenomenal!!! And AWESOME liner notes!!! Great anecdote from Phil Harding about "My Heart Goes Bang". Makes you appreciate the mixes so much more. Alex and Crew, thanks a million times over!!!

What I love about this series so much is - in addition to all the great music and uncovered gems - is the input of the artists and/or remixers about the songs. What other compilation does this? I can't think of any. You really appreciate all that went into the final mix. All those edits done by razor blades, and some you don't even hear!!!! Freaking mind-boggling!!!

Alex, I hope this isn't the end. It just can't end here. Alternative dance music history deserves to be preserved!!! Hi-Bias is doing a fantastic job releasing these volumes. I never want it to end.

Again, my heart-felt thanks. And, I'm so glad I ordered it directly from the label!!!!
