Apparently a double CD of Natasha (England) is due very soon. I'm very keen to hear this, I absolutely love her versions of The Boom Boom Room and Sally Go Round The Roses.

Thanks for the info. I always dug "The Boom Boom Room." Still pull out the 7" every so often.

"Homeland" is a top track. Don't think I got anything else of hers, but I'll probably buy it just for that.

Her version of Iko Iko is being remixed and reissued ahead of the compilation. The press release claims it is the last remaining UK top 10 hit to gain a CD release. Is this true? Can anyone think of another yet to make it to digital?

I ordered from her website and got it in 3 days. It came with a lengthy hand written letter thanking me for the support! How sweet.

Yep, it was, she filled an A4 sheet with her hand writing and talks about recording in the wilderness years and how she's always wanted to release new material but hasn't been able too. I would imagine she'd write to you also, it's a nice touch. I only really know/knew Iko Iko and The Boom Boom Room but I wanted them on CD so a lot of this stuff is knew to me...

Thank you for the news of this release. I am from Australia and i must be only one of a few people down under who remembers this artist. I don't think she had a hit here. I think her version of 'Iko Iko' didn't make the charts, The Belle Stars beat her to it. But I most remember 'The Boom Boom Room', it must have been played only once on TV. I liked the song, so I had to track down the album 'Captured', I still have it to this day. Will have to by the double cd.
