This is supposed to be released on 11/18, anyone have any info about it? I have "a Different Story", is this worth picking up? Looks like it might be a 2 disc.

Looks like it will be a 2 on 1 with both English and German versions of the album. Unfortunately, that means that the excellent 1985 album "Things to come" will remain unreissued. Still, I'm thrilled to finally get this, since the OOP Japanese CD always goes for crazy cash on eBay.

English and German versions both on 1 CD is the best way to re-release such things. But to add non-album b-sides would be perfect...
DJ Phoenix, Peter Schilling is tops, buy everything he released, especially if you like "Major Tom" - you won't be disappointed.

A Different Story omits a couple of really catchy synthpop tracks from Error in the System, so I would definitely get it if I were you. There are a couple of 'filler' tracks, but you are sure to find a few new wave gems on there besides Major Tom.

Totally agree, Rubellan - "Things To Come" is a fantastic album and I'm bummed it's not getting released. I've already got the German version of the CD so I'm paying $20 for the English version (which I'll probably do, I'm just sayin').

Nice! I'll get both. I hope they are still planning their Until December reissue as well.
I miss the "Coming Soon" section that they used to have on their site. Maybe they were getting too many emails asking when stuff was coming out?

I really think that you can live with the Different Story cd as most of the good songs are on there already. One thing though is I've always like the german version of Major Tom better than the english version so it might be worth getting for that. Same goes for Nena's 99 Red Balloons, I've always liked the 99 Luftballons a lot better.

Received my copy of the CD today. Master tapes all the way, and great sound quality. Thanks to Wounded Bird for understanding the importance of using the best available sources.

That is GREAT news that Things To Come is coming out next year, Scott! I wonder if it'll be a two-fer with 120 Grad? I'm guessing not.
I disagree that The Different Story had all the good songs. There were some great ones on both albums that weren't on TDS - Where You Are I Am, Lifetime Guarantee, Things To Come, even Major Tom Part II, all great.

I asked Wounded Bird about this about a month ago. They said nothing has been scheduled yet. I hope they don't drop the idea. "Things to come" is a great album, save the very radio friendly "Chill of the night".

Is the version of The Noah Plan on the English version different to the German one (other than the language)?
I used to have a 4-track cassette single of Major Tom with The Noah Plan on it, but listening to my old copy of Fehler Im System recently, I'm sure it's a different arrangement.

Yes it is. I actually hadn't heard of the German version of "The Noah Plan" and when I listened to the German tracks, it took me a couple of button pressing back and forth to figure out.

Cool. I might invest in this version then. I have Fehler Im System on CD, but I always preferred the English version of The Noah Plan.
