nice. I managed to have her first few CDs--sprawled across numerous Wilde collections that have been released over the years. Now, at last, the first two will be all on single discs...

I can't find it right now, but on one of the recent threads about cherry red releases, someone said they didn't think these two reissues were from original masters because it doesn't say it anywhere in the liner notes. I bought both CDs and have listened to them through on headphones, and they sound excellent, and definitely not like they are from vinyl--at most, they may be from CD, but i don't know. What does everyone else think?

My guess is the album tracks were lifted from the OOP Japanese releases and the bonus tracks are vinyl rips. That is what my ears tell me anyway.

Every track on all 3 releases had previously been available on CD before. I assume they just compiled from these CD's. I didn't bother because I have all the albums in "The Originals" box set, and all the B sides on a dirt cheap comp called The Hits Collection. Aside from a couple of tracks, Catch As Catch Can is a stinker of an album.
