Don't expect there to be any bonus tracks on Langley. Is it just me or does anybody else feel this trend of releasing remastered albums only in Japan is getting very annoying. Take the recent Frankie reissues over there and people were paying up to £80 for that Return To The Pleasuredome box set it's bloody madness and who for a minute thinks Prefab Sprout have a big fanbase over there[?] Looking forward to the new album though hope it will have been worth the 12 year wait for new material.

Well it is annoying but sometimes remastered discs may not happen otherwise. Check out 8 remasters by Prince. WB may never remaster that catalogue in the states, especially with that falling out with Prince. Case in point the anniversary of Purple Rain and that was passed up without a remastered anniversary release. The put out the DVD edition with the old cd.. why??

The prospect of a new Prefab Sprout album in 2009 is very exciting indeed. Paddy is a brilliant songwriter and I still listen to their albums often.
