Wire Train recorded their third album for MCA in 1993; it was called Snug. For some reason, MCA shelved the album, but it's available now for purchase on iTunes and Amazon's MP3 store. It's a loose, fun record and a natural progression from No Soul No Strain. I dig it.

Excellent news! I thought No Soul, No Strain was a solid album ("Crashing Back to You" is simply brilliant) and I always wondered why they disappeared after that one, especially since they seemed to finding their feet with a grittier "alternative" sound.

It's actually been one of my favorites from them for awhile, of course, not an official copy I have been listening to. It picks up perfectly where No Soul, No Strain leaves off and those remain my two favorite WT records.
