I know I'm probably the only fan of the band here, and this will get even more negative responses than the Howard Jones thread, but I'm posting this anyway. There's a new Kajagoogoo/Limahl best of coming out in the UK due to their reformation and tour, and this one comes with a DVD. Also has 2 new tracks.

Disc: 1
1. Too Shy
2. Ooh To Be Ah
3. Never Ending Story
4. Big Apple
5. Hang On Now
6. White Feathers
7. Only For Love
8. Lion's Mouth, The
9. Turn Your Back On Me
10. Power To Forgive, The
11. Inside To Outside
12. Shouldn't Do That
13. Love In Your Eyes
14. Too Much Trouble
15. Tar Beach
16. Space Cadet
17. Dreaming Of The Same Thing

Disc: 2 (DVD)
1. Too Shy
2. Ooh To Be Ah
3. Hang On Now
4. Big Apple
5. Lion's Mouth, The
6. Turn Your Back On Me
7. Only For Love
8. Never Ending Story
9. Space Cadets
10. Too Shy (live on Top Of The Pops)

I wish it had the "Shouldn't Do That" video and more Limahl clips, but it's not bad.

Looks like we may both catch some crap over this then? as I, too, dig Kaja's stuff. "White Feathers" is a wonderful jam. I really like "Never Ending Story" too, and "Too Much Trouble" is great as well.

I am however, a bit disappointed that they didn't include some of the extended mixes of Too Shy/NES, and others. The extended of TS is wonderful, and shouldve been included on this.

Their 3 first albums were issued in 2004 with extra tracks (B-sides, 12" mixes etc) so there is no reason why they should include 12" mixes on this Best Of. I assume/hope that all versions on this new CD set are the original single versions, not the album versions. I don't know why Kajagoogoo has a "strange" reputation amongst music fans, maybe because of Limahl's girl-boyish style? Because they did some good music, but perhaps their appeal was mainly directed at female fans?. So any male fan now would feel a bit strange to like them. Even if they are not my No 1 favourite group, I did a simple discography: http://www.discog.info/kajagoogoo.html
because I think they deserve it.

I read somewhere else on the web where a person received an advanced copy and was disappointed that the Limahl tracks were the album versions, not the single mixes. I'm a firm believer that greatest hits compilations should include single mixes or however the songs were heard on the radio.

Sorry, Mr. Surly, ("shut up!") but I'm a Kaja/Googoo fan as well (and Howard Jones, and even if I wasn't I wouldn't threadcrap). Any word on if the DVD will play in Region 1? I'm guessing it's probably a PAL disc and I don't have a region-free player (a good excuse to get one maybe?) so it wouldn't help me much.

Looking forward to catching the reunion tour if it hits the states though (same with Spandau Ballet).

It should be Region 0, even if it's PAL. However, a lot of the EMI UK DVDs have been NTSC recently for some reason (Dolby, OMD)

And extra points for realizing that my name is a Simpsons reference!

I ordered this one the other day too. "Hang On Now" is one of my all time favorite songs and I love the video as well. I'm looking forward to receiving this one.

Got this in today, picture quality is nice and audio sounds good to my ears. Man, I love the girl in the "Hang On Now" video.
