Buzzcocks-A Different Kind of Tension 2 CD Deluxe

Buzzcocks-A Different Kind of Tension 2 CD Deluxe

Postby haastilecreation » Sat Sep 19, 2009 12:20 am

Does anyone own this release? I have the 2 cd deluxe edition but was never fortunate enough to own the original LP. I'm not sure if it's the tapes that were used to master this CD but it sounds like the audio fades out a bit in the left channel on I Believe and a couple of other songs. If anyone out there owns this release please give me some info!

Thanks-

I've got it - sounds fine to me. My understanding is that the album itself is the same as the 2001 remastered reissue. Undoubtedly, someone on this site will know more (and probably better).

my all-time fav Buzzcocks album - and yes, the original certainly played around with stereo fields a lot. I Believe, Sitting Around at Home and the brilliant title track especially so. The new remaster is amazing.

It is my favorite as well. When I listened to it on headphones I was curious about the cut out.
