I'm confused (what's new[:D]). I picked up the Best of Westside today, and 90% of the writing in the booklet is in German. I thought this label was from out of Dallas, TX.

I see your confusion. Westside is a German Label that had limited distribution on Oak Lawn Records out of Dallas, TX. The most memerable being MCL-New York and Voyou-Houseman. They also distributed domestic singles for C.C.C.P., 3 times 6, Sons of Nippon, and VIM. There has always been rumor that not all of the licences were legitimate. The label and store are no longer (unfortunatly). They were a Dallas Dance staple for many years.

James, do you have any Westside/Frankfurt videos? I'm looking for anything. (i.e. Moskwa TV, Robotiko Rejekto, Axodry, MCL, etc.)

Sorry I checked with my husband who subscibes to rock America, and Promo Only and he only has a video for C.C.C.P. - American Soviets. I have never seen any Westside or TDI videos available.

I have a few of them including:

CCCP
16 Bit
Okay
Boys From Brazil
Microchip League

I know there are videos for Moskwa TV, real ones and not the fake ones floating around the internet. I would love to see Robotiko Rejekto, Voyou and Axodry videos.

Hey Sean, I read on thesecondfuture that Micrchip League will be releasing a cd single soon. There is no word if it is new material or old, but I remember something about a megamix being released this year. Let me know if you have any other info. Oh and have you heard the Netzwerk cover of generator 7/8 with Javelin? Saw it recently but was skeptical of it being cheezy italio energy.

I hope they decide to release Code Numbers instead. :)

As for Netzwerk, I have the cd single and it's great. From what I remember, they actually use Javelin's voice or at least someone that sounds very similar to him.
