No, I do not consider them new wave and understand fully any negative reactions to their "hits." However, I'm guessing some here may be interested in this digital reissue of their 1986 debut album on EMI, which is a little different sounding from their later work. This is reissued by the band themselves, with bonus tracks. Alas, it is a vinyl rip. Oh well.
