This week sees the publication of "Mad World: An Oral History of New Wave Artists and Songs that Defined the 1980s," a tour through 35 classic songs via new interviews with the artists, a list that includes Depeche Mode, Echo & The Bunnymen, INXS, Tears For Fears, The Smiths, Simple Minds, OMD, Adam and the Ants and many, many more.
Some of the biggest new wave secrets are revealed in as well.
The 320-page paperback, by Lori Majewski and Jonathan Bernstein, is published by Abrams Image, and includes a forward by Duran Duran’s Nick Rhodes and an afterword by Moby.
