Hey all, not sure if this was mentioned at all, but I don't remember seeing it--Platinum Blonde's second album Standing in the Dark was reissued. No bonus tracks.

Holy shit, you're right! Thanks for the news. "Standing in the Dark" is their first album. The previous release was an EP ("Six track attack"), with songs that all appeared on "Standing in the Dark". I think all the versions are the same, with the exception of "Doesn't Really Matter", which doesn't have the intro by Mark's mom.

Sony had silently reissued CDs of Alien Shores and Contact last year (2015).

I picked up Alien Shores. Comparing it to a FLAC rip that I had downloaded of the original, it is a straight-up reissue using the same master. AccurateRip checksums match between original CD and new CD. I didn't bother with Contact, as I already have the original CD. Booklet for Alien Shores has the lyrics, but no new write-ups or anything.
