Yes, great news. It's on Cherry Red and features three bonus tracks. Sadly, two are from a vinyl source but if the tapes are lost, what can you do?

There is a re-recording of 'Oh No It's You' that The Passions shared via, I think, MySpace a few years back which is a really good version - probably a bit more akin to the lusher sound of 'Thirty Thousand Feet Over China' - it would be nice to see this committed to CD as part of this re-issue, if not too late...

Would have liked to have seen more bonus tracks such as demos, live tracks etc but I guess none were available in decent quality.

This is good news because my LP of this sounds terrible. Actually, the UK Polydor pressings I have by The Passions, on 7"/12"/LP all sound horrible.

The remaster sounds terrific, even more like it was 'recorded in the back room by a bunch of friends' than when I bought the lp back then...

The remaster is pretty satisfying. Even though it's still remastered by Dave Turner, he's (thankfully) continuing his trend of leaving much of the dynamic range intact rather than his past brickwalling. But the album is recorded pretty low-fi and it still sounds as such, so it is good for what it is. And I agree that most of The Passions discography has dreadful production, save the Sanctuary album. That one sounds great. Too bad it was their last because it is definitely their best.
