the heaven 17 song is good, it has been out awhile as a 12", and also
on the live at the jazz cafe cd.

I'm considering that Jazz Cafe CD. Is it good?

I would also recommend the actual score by Matthew Margeson. You can buy it from Varese Saraband or it is available on Spotify and Apple Music. He did a great job of capturing the sound of a typical score from the 80's with a modern touch.

Is the version of Pray any different to the 12" that came out a few years ago back with Illumination? That was marked a 'work in progress' mix.

My guess Ian is that it is different/an edit - it's only 4 and a half mins long whereas the 12" vinyl version was 6 and a half.

I've got to say... I listened to this album with pretty low expectations but it is really good in an 80's stylie. And pretty much from start to finish! Got to agree that the Howard Jones song is ace but Marc Almond, H17, Nik K. and OMD too... and the Paul Young one too and I can even listen to the Tony Hadley one without rushing for the forward button (total shock!). Highly recommended.
