The original UK 12" extended version of Howard Jones 'New Song' has strangely never been released on cd - only the 'new version'. The same goes with Tears For Fears 'Pale Shelter' and Limahl 'Only For Love'..

Hats off to Alex and all at Hi-Bias for putting out such a superb compilation series. I got my copy hot off the presses on the 11th and I haven't taken it out of my player since. That brings my count of Blancmange 12" versions on CD to six [:D] - if I c

Another question. The version of 'Don't Tell Me' seemed a lot more toned down than the UK 12" I've been listening to for years. Is it another US mix? The UK one must be a bit too wacky for some.

The sound quality is excellent though. Looking forward to

Juan, thanks for the clarification re-Pale Shelter. Yes it's in a pale green sleeve with much louder and rawer snare drums. Didn't realize the different titles. [:I]
