Nice job Alex - good call

Well done Alex and everyone at HI-BIAS!

I know how much, first hand, the effort that's involved in putting these together.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Great to see Blancmange, The Human League, Alphaville, The Dream Academy and

Hi Alex,

That was my question too. Is the OMD "So In Love" the Special American Dance Remix (basically the original 12" version) or is it a brand new mix?

Sean

Hi all! Thanks for the great feedback, its much appreciated.
Yup, that is indeed the 'Special American Dance Remix' aka Brand New Extended Mix.
This mix of 'No Stars' was given to me by Chris Ewen of FOAB. It was never even promoed by Warner so this is

Oh yeah, let's bring on vol. 3. Alex is probably wiping the sweat off his forehead right now for the tracks he got for vol. 2.

I narrowed it down to one request for Retro:active Vol. 3:

Hubert KaH - The Picture (extended 12" version aka the b-side for the It's Me Cathy 12" single)

I will fall out of my chair if I see this one. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Another excellent release.

Great Work Alex.

Paul

Alex, I would like to congratulate you on the amazing work you and all at Hi-Bias have done on RETRO:ACTIVE - Rare & Remixed – volume 1 and the imminent volume 2. I was blown away by the awesome tracklisting and the care that was taken not only to avoid

here's my 2 cents for some extended mixes not on cd yet..
1.) lene lovich - "it's you" and any others ...she has no good extended mixes on cd i know about
2.) the leather nun - cover of gimme gimme gimme (chopper mix) (great stuff)
3.) the lucy show

Early Ministry would be great. I just wish they would release an album say called "With More Sympathy" and include all the 12" tracks "Work For Love", "I Wanted To Tell Her", "Effigy", and "Revenge" and add on rarites. That would be the ultimate. I kno

Were there actually 12" remixes of "Revenge" and "Effigy"??
