Cherry Red subsidiary label Hot Shot Records is re-releasing the Schilling album Error in the System again on CD July 1 with the German version of the album and Major Tom 12" mix as bonus tracks. Despite already having the Wounded Bird edition, which sounds pretty damn good, I will be buying this one as well. It is claiming to be "remastered", and considering how Cherry Red have been doing recently, that could be a good thing. Their Kissing the Pink and Haircut 100 CDs were excellent.

In other Peter news, if anyone is a fan of Peter Baumann, his excellent electro-instrumental albums are also being reissued by a Cherry Red subsidiary tomorrow! I had no idea until perusing their site. I love these album because those 70s electronics were just magical. Both albums have been OOP on CD for more than a couple of decades and go for big bucks. Sad to see they are not re-releasing his 1981 vocal Synth album Repeat Repeat. That could stand an update.

Of course with Peter Baumann, they skip the reissue for Strangers In The Night. Bummer!!!
