Too bad no "Leave In Silence". I also wonder if you can turn off the commentary and watch the video without the comments.

It's been removed from the BBFC website so it doesn't look like it's happening anyway also leaving out Everything Counts, World In My Eyes and Policy Of Truth to name just 3 is madness.

When they reissued the first 3 box sets in 2004 they never even bothered to remaster them unlike the boxes 4 to 6. If you listen to the sound quality on boxes 4 to 6 compared to those so called album remasters from 2006 the difference is like night and day. They need their back catalogue properly remastered and if they release a DVD of videos then they should make sure everything is on it.

I always found it odd that they only reissue albums on vinyl over and over again. You figure with Columbia, they would try something new, like compiling the content of the 12"es into vinyl compilations.

i've never heard of that happening. and i follow many many groups.

and i doubt it would ever happen.

some of the latest thompson twins vinyl releases have some mixes on them.

but why would they bother doing that. there is no real demand for those on vinyl. people want them digital, streaming, and and on cd last.

What's the demand for reissuing the albums on vinyl ad nauseum?

Anyway, it's Depeche Fucking Mode! There's enough hardcorers out there who will buy anything from them :D .

albums are always in demand, and with the vinyl resurgence, getting them on heavy vinyl is awesome to collectors like me,
that had the early flimsy regular pressings.

i don't care about the singles, because i have tons and tons of them on cd, cd boxsets, re-releases, etc, etc.

Because it's all about you, and if it's of no interest of you, then it must be no interest to anyone else, either. Okay, thanks for clearing that up.

Funny, though, that you're not interested because you have it all on CD, etc., but you will re-buy a New Order singles compilation, which I would think you already have all the mixes and crap on CD already. But whatever, it's everyone's personal choice on what they want to buy. Me, I just got Sarah McLachlan's Touch (2nd version) again, on CD, because it was the original pressing  .

i would actually rebuy, almost anything that's released as compilations, (i got all the remix boxsets and compilations from depeche mode)...

but i'm not the audience or the current target. and talking to my friends in the music industry, they know there is no market for a 12 inch or singles compilations,
just albums, and also the odd 7 inch every once in awhile.

so that's where my comments come from.

They could have done an expanded vinyl version, with the singles added. Hey, it works for CDs.
