It depends on what your motivation is:
If you collect CDs for an investment, CD-Rs and Bootlegs sometime don't have or hold/or increase in value.
This depends often on the quality of the release.
The sound quality of these series 'Lost 80's' & 'Lost Wave Records' are excellent and it is nice to have a clean digital copy of these "never been released on CD". Often times "bootlegs" become almost official releases and because of the limited run of production have a very high value. You have to answer the question: Are you a music lover or are you a collector for investment or bragging rights? If the latter, maybe you should collect postage stamps.
